Coming up on NewsCenter1 Today, the latest on the swine flu with local and national response. A Sioux Falls soldier is killed in Iraq. Also, The 5K Bob Run for ALS is this weekend  we’ll be talking about – as well as the Black Hills Community Theatre’s production of “Nunsense” which opens Friday.

Taylor says rain is on the way… and we’re planting onions in the Bobtanical Garden this week.

It’s not a show day – but I thought I’d better tell you about the upcoming snow storm. 4 to 8 inches of snow will fall tonight and Sunday (probably between 8pm tonight and 2pm Sunday) across the Black Hills, northeast Wyoming, southeast Montana, southwest North Dakota and northwest South Dakota.

Coming up this morning – Governor Rounds speaks out about what’s being done to help the unemployed. The executive director of the Board of Regents is encouraging a college education as a means to get a better job once the economy turns around.

There’s an increasing number of Superwomen who are trying to do it all… but becoming addicted to drugs while doing it.

We also have the box office preview and Taylor says the 80 degree temperatures will be replaced by a couple of inches of snow tonight.

If you’ve driven along East North Street in Rapid City – you know what we’re talking about when we say the road is in horrible condition. We’ll also show you one other city with an unusual way to fill pot holes.
