It’s not a show day – but I thought I’d better tell you about the upcoming snow storm. 4 to 8 inches of snow will fall tonight and Sunday (probably between 8pm tonight and 2pm Sunday) across the Black Hills, northeast Wyoming, southeast Montana, southwest North Dakota and northwest South Dakota.

Coming up this morning – Governor Rounds speaks out about what’s being done to help the unemployed. The executive director of the Board of Regents is encouraging a college education as a means to get a better job once the economy turns around.

There’s an increasing number of Superwomen who are trying to do it all… but becoming addicted to drugs while doing it.

We also have the box office preview and Taylor says the 80 degree temperatures will be replaced by a couple of inches of snow tonight.

Flood warnings continue and we’ll have the latest on those this morning. Also, we’ll be talking with Liz Weiss, RD about the dietary fiber your kids should be consuming.

If you’ve driven along East North Street in Rapid City – you know what we’re talking about when we say the road is in horrible condition. We’ll also show you one other city with an unusual way to fill pot holes.

Friday’s show was interesting! The regular meteorologist didn’t make it in so I had to call on my meteorological skills to do the weather and news. I haven’t been pointing and clicking for two years so it took sometime to figure out what I was doing!

I also talked blood with Bob Garcia from United Blood Services – Friday was the KSLT – KNBN Blood Drive.

Also.. updates on the allegations of abuse at a Hot Springs nursing home, the governor signed the application for the stimulus money, and how people are escaping the real world for cheap thrills.

The fight is on to keep the DoD funding for the next generation bomber. We also have more information on Rapid City’s waterfowl management plan. Plus – the graduate degree for computer science at SDSMT will be no more. Instead it will be a robotics degree.

Taylor says more snow is in the forecast – will it be 1 to 3 or more than 6 inches?
